Daria Dominique Barisheva

Daria Dominique Barisheva, originally from Latvia, is an aspiring visual storyteller, writer, editor and photographer. She explores the themes of intimacy, erotic power, and shadows of human psyche. She doesn’t shy away from darkness. Her characters are messy: they feel too much, they love too much, and they follow their instincts.

Her recent stop motion animation Bloody Ever After debuted in ResearchLabs 2026 in Eye Museum.

While completing her third year at ArtEZ University of the Arts, she is inspired to contribute to Rotterdam’s vibrant film scene.
