48H PROJECT - BLENDED PRODUCTION

A short tragicomedy about a neighbourhood party committee that gathers on a Sunday afternoon to plan this year’s street party, and to quietly push out Coby, its longtime organiser. Her liverwurst and pickled onions are deemed old-fashioned, and it’s time for “a fresh wind.”

As the committee tries to make the party more “diverse,” good intentions slide into awkward stereotypes, old grudges about vegetarian pastries resurface all while a neighbour’s drill keeps drowning out the conversation. Meanwhile Coby refuses to make way, keeping to herself a secret that puts the whole discussion in a different light.
