DOCUMENTARY HUMAN-BLENDED PRODUCTION

In this hybrid documentary, five transgender immigrants search to regain control over their identities. Together with the director and writer, they craft a film script based on their personal experiences of coming to the Netherlands. They bring these scenes to life by staging and re-enacting the events. Through re-experiencing their stories on their own terms, they reclaim part of their narrative, while offering the audience a deeper understanding of an often overlooked group of people.
