Lisa Danilkovych

A visual artist from Kyiv (UA), currently based in Amsterdam (NL). While her primary focus is directing and producing for film, her creative practice extends to visual storytelling through forms such as photography and plastic arts.

While pursuing a degree in Film Studies, Lisa enjoyed learning from various departments and engaging with a creative circle of artists both in Amsterdam and (previously) in Toronto, taking on roles such as Director, BTS Photographer, Assistant Camera, Script Doctor, Film Festival Programmer, AD, and Producer.

This experience naturally led Lisa to direct two short films, each created with an international crew eager to explore experimental mediums and new dynamics within the film industry. Her films, while not limited to these topics, explore themes of automediality and coming-of-age, blending personal narratives with broader intersectional reflections gathered from her experiences along the way.
