VPRO DOCUMENTARY - BLENDED PRODUCTION

“TikTok Ravers” is a short cyberpunk documentary that explores the ongoing separation between the digital and physical worlds. The film follows Jim and Roos, two techno content creators who make online videos during techno parties. For them, their online identity is just as 'real' as their offline identity. While they inhabit a virtual world with thousands of followers online, they simultaneously long to come together physically at raves. TikTok Ravers follows Jim and Roos through both the physical and digital worlds, showing how these two realms merge at raves.
