Tijs is a Rotterdam based sound engineer, versed in the complete sound triangle: location audio, music composition and sound design. During his music technology studies, Tijs won the 48-hour Film Festival three times as a sound recordist. Since 2023 he has been active as a freelancer in the world of film. Both recording sound and composing for multiple films, most notably Nevel, by Merijn Stojansek.
